Thank you, everyone, for another very successful BHM Scholarship Gala on February 27th! Not only was the room full of laughter, music, and connections being made and rekindled, but full of generosity! This night, we raised over $55,000 for our scholarship! COMTO Chicago's scholarship goes towards students who seek careers in the transportation industry and every dollar goes towards our mission in uplifting our industry's next generation of leaders.

Congratulations to our 2026 Lifetime Achievement Awardee, Tanya Adams!Your commitment to COMTO and building a community among minority transportation officials is something our members look up to.
And congratulations to our 2026 Transportation Champion Awardees, Ram Villivalam, Eva-Dina Delgado, and Kam Buckner! Their leadership in securing $1.5 billion for public transit was more than just keeping the buses and trains running, but a historic investment of access and equity for the northern Illinois region.
